EVERLAST BOXING LEGEND: SUGAR RAY ROBINSON
Walker Smith Jr, better known as “Sugar” Ray Robinson made his professional debut at the age of 19 years old in 1940.
Equipped with Everlast gloves and training gear, Robinson went on to become a six time World Welterweight Champion and five time World Middleweight Champion.
Robinson briefly retired in 1952 however, returned to the ring in 1955 where he went on to finish his career with a professional record of 175-19-6 with 109 KO’s.
Robinson was inducted into the International Boxing Hall Of Fame in 1990.
